Television? Whats a Television

When we're younger we don't really think about where everything came from or how things are made but one thing we do know is that we loved our television. It's amazing to think that a different kind of television existed before we did. look where television has gone in its existence. Silent films in black and white to color images in high definition The difference is amazing. From seeing things with no sound to seeing them as they happen almost as if they're right in front of you. The thought was brought about that Internet might collapse the use of television altogether. I honestly think that will never happen. How would people watch the news or sitcoms and dramas in the evening and what about soap operas? So many people would be at a loss with out the television. What about the people who don't have Internet, cant afford it or don't know how to use a computer? How will they receive the information they need to know about important things in society. With out the television people wouldn't know what to do in their free time besides surf the Internet or read books. Television is one of our main sources to knowledge about the things that are going on around us. With out it it would be a shame. And as for Internet taking it over, hogwash. Internet will never take over television why would you want to watch streamed video which is after the fact when you could watch live television. Besides the fact that in streamed video online the picture sucks. it takes everything so long to load that you could have seen it twice on t.v. before you watch it on the Internet. I don't think there will ever be a time when people ask what a television is. T.v. is part of our society now and no one will go with out it.
